About

Hi, I’m Wil.

I do my best work as the person who makes the system run: I design the workflow, build the tools, keep the details straight and tell the technical truth early.

I learned that on New York film sets. As best boy grip, I kept a crew, a truck and a budget moving so the key grip could focus on the shot. Now I do the same thing for digital content at Walmart Creative Studios, on a DAM with more than two million assets, where I helped put AI-generated alt text onto walmart.com.

I’m direct and precise, sometimes more than people expect. In practice that means you hear about the real problem on day one, and the fix usually comes with documentation and an undo button.

Outside work I paint in oils (see the studio), build games in Godot and keep adding pigments to Pigfolio. I live in Los Angeles with my wife.
