Bulk operations you can undo

Python tools for migrations, renames, folder mapping and CSV transforms. Every change can be previewed, approved, logged and rolled back.

The problem

Migrations and mass renames touch thousands of files at once. One bad pattern can corrupt a library, often in ways nobody notices for weeks.

Design rules

  • Preview first: show every planned change before anything happens.
  • Explicit approval: nothing runs without a yes.
  • Log everything: keep a machine-readable record of each operation.
  • Rollback: any run can be undone from its log.
  • Deterministic and offline: the same input gives the same result every time. AI helped write the tools, but they don't call an AI to run.

Where they're used

Folder mapping and reorganization during team migrations into AEM, programmatic renames to naming standards, and custom CSV processing for the librarian team.
